CODE: FHU 021 03
Specialized tool for the prevention, combat and settlement of Forest Fires that in its metallic part is
provided with special tempered steels that allow handling materials fired or at high temperatures
without causing damage to their chemical and physical structure. Firebreak rake, used to rake mineral
soil, dig, roll logs and cut weeds. It has a handle of American ash for its flexibility and its resistance to
impacts. In addition to this tool, it is the one with the greatest drag in areas with a lot of plant material.
It has a total length of 143 + 1cm and a total weight of 1,650 kg + 100 gr. It has a 14 cm semi-conical
tube that in its widest part has an outer diameter of 3.8 cm, at the opposite end it has a slot in which a
curved plate is inserted and welded 5 cm wide by 8 cm long by 0.63 mm thick, the semi-conical tube
and the curved plate are made of AISI / SAE 1020 quality steel, its chemical composition is 0.18 to

sulfur.
On the end of the curved plate, 4 solid 1045 grade tempered steel teeth must be welded, which must
have a hardness of 48 to 52 degrees Rockwell C and be equidistant and should measure 17 cm in
width and at 4 cm they have a bend, each tooth should end in a point and should measure 15.3 cm
after the bend, and at the opposite end of the cube a wooden handle of 130 + 1 cm in length should
be inserted.
A wooden handle is inserted into the semi-conical tube, which is straight cylindrical, made of FAS
quality american ash wood, resistant to high impact, without notches or splinters, and without handles
